Talk about what you can do not what you can't do. Start from where you are. If you want more light, use the light that you already have, and walk in it.
Matthew 13:12 (NKJV)
Jesus speaking: For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
If you vacillate, hesitate, and waver, you won't receive anything from God. Do what you can do, and God will do what only He can do.
James 1:5-7 (NKJV)
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
Talk about what you know, and you'll see something knew. Be thankful for what God has done for you already, and is going to do for you. Ingratitude darkens your soul. Gratitude brighten it up.
Romans 1:21 (NKJV)
because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Cultivate a lifestyle of thanksgiving. Cultivation means work. Has God heard you prayers? Talk about answered prayers.
Proverbs 4:20-24 (NKJV)
20 My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
